10 extra spots on our ‘Ski & Snowboard Instructor Internship Programs’ in North America have just been released due to popular demand. We are now taking applications for these extra 10 positions which commence in December 2011.
This is a fantastic opportunity for school leavers because it gives them an opportunity to obtain paid employment in Canada and complete an internationally recognised ski or snowboard instructing qualification. I would be grateful if you could inform interested students, in their last or second to last year of high school, of this opportunity.

Young People without Borders is an exciting new program that will enable more young Australians to undertake a transformational gap year. And to ensure it’s available to all, sponsored placements are available in 2012 through the introductory Trailblazer Award.
Young People without Borders has been brought to life by the Foundation for Young Australians, and Lattitude is pleased to be the inaugural placement partner and support the first wave of volunteers next year. We are inviting applications for funded placements in the areas of teaching, community development and sports coaching.

Registrations for Monash University Gippsland's popular Industry Placement Program (IPP) are now open to students applying to the Gippsland Campus in 2012.
IPP is a scholarship program available only to Monash University Gippsland undergraduate students. It provides a unique opportunity for students to:
· develop outstanding job-ready skills and experience that employers are looking for
· gain six months full-time industry experience in their chosen field of study
· receive up to $15,000 as an industry placement scholarship

The program is available to all students* applying for a Monash Gippsland degree in Art and Design, Science, Arts, Business, Engineering or IT.

About REEP
We are dedicated to increasing the participation rates in higher education of students from rural and regional areas. UB recognises that VCE results (or equivalent) do not always predict success at tertiary level and REEP is designed to enable secondary students to apply for alternative entry into one of UB's higher education programs. When students apply through the REEP process they are assessed on their overall academic potential and demonstrated motivation to succeed rather than just their ATAR.

Young Endeavour
Australia's national sail training ship Young Endeavour is now accepting applications for youth to join eleven day voyages departing between January and June 2012. Young Australians aged 16 to 23 can apply for the ballot at www.youngendeavour.gov.au until 30 September 2011. No sailing experience is required.
A voyage in Young Endeavour is an amazing experience and a unique opportunity for youth to develop teamwork and leadership skills through a world recognised organisation. The current ballot includes voyages along the eastern coast of Australia, which will be crewed by youth from around the country.
